How It Works

From first hello to first showcase.

Launchpad is designed to be simple for families and safe for kids. Here's the journey — and how we keep every student protected along the way.

Getting started

A clear, secure account flow

Parents are always in control. Children only access what they've been assigned.

1

Parent creates an account

You sign up and verify your email.

2

Add child profiles

Each child gets a safe, pseudonymous display name.

3

Set consent & safety

You choose what your child can share and see.

4

Child joins their cohort

They access assigned missions and approved rooms only.

5

Everyone stays connected

You and staff can review all activity, any time.

The weekly rhythm

Watch → Attend → Build → Show

Week 1

Watch

A short lesson video introduces the build.

Week 2

Attend

A live class with a real mentor.

Week 3

Build

Hands-on making with AI guidance on call.

Week 4

Show

Submit, reflect, and present in a showcase.

Safety first, always

Built to protect every child

Monitored everywhere

Staff review every community room and AI conversation. Nothing is hidden from parents.

No private messaging

Students can't DM each other. All conversation happens in moderated rooms.

Pseudonymous & private

Real names and personal info are never shown publicly. Kids build under safe display names.
